Licensees holding a barber, barber instructor, barbershop or barber college license who miss the late renewal period and allow their license to lapse, may apply for relicensure.

Requirements for a license lapsed from 61 days to 3 years include the filing of the appropriate application and fees, and that the applicant be of good moral character.

Requirements for a barber or barber instructor license lapsed for more than 3 years include the filing of the appropriate application and fees, that the applicant be of good moral character, and that they complete the current license examination.
