THE APPRAISAL SUBCOMMITTEE (ASC)

Title XI requires that the Appraisal Subcommittee:

• Oversee State appraiser regulatory agencies
• Grant funds to, and review the activities of, The Appraisal Foundation
• Maintain a National Registry and collect Registry fees
• Report to Congress annually

• Access the National Registry for a list of appraisers qualified to perform appraisals for federally related transactions
• Search for state licensed, certified residential and certified general appraisers by county, city, state, or other search criteria
