Education Requirements

Those wishing to become Limited Appraisers, Licensed Appraisers, Certified Residential Appraisers or Certified General Appraisers must obtain acceptable prelicensure coursework in order to meet the Qualifying Education Requirements. Qualifying courses must be at least 15 hours in length, and the applicant must pass the exam at the end of the course.

A list of acceptable Prelicensure courses is available for downloading or viewing using the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
