MPSC Authorizes Michigan Gas Utilities Corporation's 2011-12 Gas Cost Recovery Factor

January 26, 2012 - The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today authorized Michigan Gas Utilities Corporation's 2011-2012 gas cost recovery (GCR) plan and factors.

The utility is authorized to incorporate into its rates a base GCR factor of $6.6936 per thousand cubic feet (Mcf) and to implement a reservation charge of $0.8014 per Mcf for GCR and gas customer choice customers, effective with the next billing month. 

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
