January 26, 2012 - The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Alpena Power Company's 2012 power supply cost recovery (PSCR) plan.

Under the terms of the settlement, the utility is authorized to implement a PSCR factor of up to 3.15 mills per kilowatt-hour for the 12-month billing period ending Dec. 31, 2012.

The utility, MPSC staff and Citizens Against Rate Excess participated in the settlement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
