The Braille and Talking Book Library application requires the signature of a certifying authority, certifying that the applicant is unable to use standard print material due to a visual or physical disability.

Order your books online using this form available twenty-four hours a day.

• Digital Talking Books and Talking Book Machines
Digital players, as well as accessories such as headphones, are provided and repaired for all library patrons at no charge

• Cassette Talking Books and Talking Book Machines
Cassette players, as well as accessories such as headphones, are provided and repaired for all library patrons at no charge.

• Talking Books and Braille for Students: A Primer for Schools and Parents
Books, players and magazines are also available for eligible students.

• Book Services and Reader Advisors
There are a variety of service options tailored to each patron's personal tastes. You may call or send in book requests and have materials mailed to you, or you may come by the library to pick them up yourself.

• Described Video Collection
Described videos are movies where the visual elements are narrated without interfering with the movie's dialogue or sound effects.

• Magazine Collection Available Free of Charge to Registered Patrons
More than 70 magazines are available for no charge on cassette or in Braille.

• Braille & Recording Services
Our volunteer narrators are able to record materials on a first-come, first-serve basis for individual patrons including books, personal materials, and instruction manuals.
