FIS 1075 Anti-Redlining Affidavit no longer required

NOTICE - Pursuant to Public Act No. 692 of 2002, Section 6 of the Mortgage Lending Practices Act, 1977 PA 135, MCL 445.1606, is repealed effective March 31, 2003.

This section required a credit granting institution to annually file an affidavit with the Commissioner stating whether the institution is subject to the federal home mortgage disclosure act and, if subject to the act, that the institution has complied with the requirements of the act and the regulations promulgated under the act. Because the repeal of this section precedes the deadline for filing the affidavit, institutions are no longer required to file the affidavit.
