How to become licensed if I'm moving to Michigan from another state:

Successful completion of the examination if prior home state license was surrendered over 90 days ago, but less than 12 months ago. Visit our Examination Information page for more information specific to the examinations.

Electronic Resident Licensing (ERL) application
If prior home state license was surrendered over 12 months ago, Prelicensing is necessary (original, signed course completion certificate dated within previous six months)
