This data file is the State of Michigan's index of all the government survey corners completed and filed under the State remonumentation grant program. The records are cataloged using the Town, Range, and Corner Code assigned by 1970 PA 74, as amended. The corners which do not have an assigned corner code under 1970 PA 74, as amended, use a sequential numbering system starting with the number '1' within each survey township. Records related to the remonumentation program are available for use by the public and are filed in this office.
