Palliative Care Consultation offers active, comprehensive support for managing patients with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions. Palliative care can be appropriate at all stages of illness, not just the terminal phase, and can be provided at the same time as active or life-prolonging treatments.

CAPC is a national organization dedicated to increasing the availability of quality palliative care services for people facing serious illness. Direction and technical assistance are provided by Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

This website is a wonderful resource for general information about PC, has a searchable database of hospitals with palliative care programs and a list of other organizations that can help.

ShareTheCare.org is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating the public, health professionals and clergy about group caregiving as a proven option for meeting the needs of the seriously ill or dying, those in rehabilitiation, the elderly in need of assistance and their caregivers.

We are an interdisciplinary community of scholars, educators, researchers and clinicians dedicated to relieving the suffering of those with mortal illness and improving their quality of life. The Center provides resources to clinicians across disciplines and settings that practice palliative care.
