Please complete a written request for records or documents associated with those professions, occupations, or matters regulated by the Corporations, Securities & Commercial Licensing Bureau. The submission of a written request for records or documents not associated with the Corporations, Securities & Commercial Licensing Bureau will likely result in a response delay or a denial of your request. The Michigan Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 1976 PA 442, allows the public access to non-exempt records by submitting a written request.  A written request can be submitted to the Corporations, Securities & Commercial Licensing Bureau by fax (517) 241-9296, by mailing electronically to BCSFOIA@Michigan.gov, or by sending the request through regular mail to: FOIA Coordinator, LARA - Corporations, Securities, & Commercial Licensing Bureau, P.O. Box 30018, Lansing, MI 48909.

You will generally be charged for any records copied and mailed to you. The copy charge is currently $0.25 per page unless special reproduction or duplication of a record is necessary. Postage or mailing charges, or special handling, may be on an actual cost basis. You will be notified if the estimated cost for a record exceeds $50 and a deposit in one-half of the total estimated cost must be submitted before records are copied/duplicated and mailed.
