The Michigan Corporations, Securities, & Commercial Licensing Bureau, Corporations Division offers a seminar for new nonprofit officers, directors and members. The seminar is offered at our Okemos office at 2501 Woodlake Circle, Okemos, MI from 12:30pm to 4:30pm. There is a non-refundable fee of $50.00 per person for attending the seminar.
The seminar covers a wide variety of topics including director and officers duties and responsibilities, indemnification, charitable solicitations, financing, tax issues, filing requirements and record keeping.
Class size is limited so please submit your registration request at least 2 weeks prior to the seminar. You will receive confirmation of your registration by email or phone call from the agency. Please make check payable to the State of Michigan and mail along with a copy of this registration form to: LARA, Corporations Division, P.O.
