ADULT FOSTER CARE
Due to a high volume of pending AFC applications and the Division's limited resources, an AFC applicant can expect a waiting period of approximately 6 to 12 months before an original AFC license may be issued. Waiting periods may vary depending on complaint activity, workloads of local health authorities and the Bureau of Fire Services, and the timeliness of applicant compliance.
In addition, please print and read the Licensing Rules for Adult Foster Care Family Homes, Licensing Rules for Adult Foster Care Group Homes or the Licensing Rules for Adult Foster Care Large Group Homes and 1979 PA 218 prior to submitting your application.
To begin the application process, please submit the site and program applications, the required fees and the BCAL-1326 on the camp administrator.
