There are many ways patrons can order books from BTBL, and it is all about finding the method that is right for you. Call us at 1-800-992-9012 during business hours and we will be happy to help you choose materials. Or find books yourself using one of the following methods:
1. Visit our online catalog at www.michigan.gov/ordertalkingbooks
to search for books and have them sent in the mail as soon as they are available. To order books from this site, you must call us to set up a username and password. After this information is initially set, you will be able to log in at any time to order books.
2. Sign-up for BARD and download books yourself any time of the day- no waiting for the mail! (Visit the BARD link on the homepage to learn more details).
3. Utilize the following form. This enables registered patrons of participating Michigan Libraries for the Blind and Physically Handicapped to submit book requests, which arrive to BTBL staff via email. Requests are usually processed in 2-3 business days. You will need to be an active patron of BTBL to order books.
