Research Request

The Library of Michigan provides nonpartisan, confidential research services for the Michigan Legislature and state government. The Library offers this electronic reference service to assist legislative and state government employees with work related questions. You'll receive an answer by phone, fax or email, usually within 24 hours (weekends and holidays excluded). If you need immediate assistance or prefer to speak with a reference librarian, please call 517-373-1300.

We encourage the general public to visit the Library of Michigan for research assistance or to consult your local public library for services.
