2009 Vehicle Auction Dates Changed--the Next One is July 11

All surplus generated by state government, excluding real estate, is processed through the State Surplus Property Program. When possible, it is displayed in our Lansing warehouse for redistribution within state government. Surplus which is not reused is sold through public auction or sealed bid.

The 2009 Vehicle Auction dates have been changed. The June 27 auction has been re-scheduled to July 11. September 19 and November 7 remain the fall dates. All auctions take place at 731 N. Canal, Lansing, Michigan. The auctions begin at 10:00 a.m. Inspection times for these Saturday auctions will take place on the Friday prior to the auction from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on the day of the auction from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

A vehicle listing with photos is usually available on this site two weeks prior to the auction.

In the meantime, don't forget to browse and bid on items at MiBid . New items are added regularly from state surplus and local government, property confiscated by police agencies, and voluntarily abandoned property from Michigan airports.
