$10,000 Hold 'Em Poker prize won

LANSING, April 4, 2005 – A very lucky Southgate woman knows her poker! She won $10,000 in the Michigan Lottery’s Hold ‘Em Poker Instant game.

The lucky woman purchased her winning ticket at Angelo’s Party Shop and Deli, 15151 Dix Toledo Rd., in Southgate.

The longtime Lottery player plans on putting her prize money towards her retirement. In her free time, she enjoys gardening.

Hold ‘Em Poker is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.8 million.
