LANSING, April 16, 2008 - Robert Taylor sure got
a "kick" when he multiplied is Club Keno winnings to $20,002!
The winner matched all eight numbers in an 8-Spot
game with a 2X Kicker for the big prize and matched four of eight numbers on
another draw to add $2.
The lucky winner has played the Lottery for 10
years. He purchased the winning ticket at Latina Restaurant and Pizzeria,
1370 W. Bristol Rd., in Flint.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and
win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets
can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by
matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The
more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery
tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state
School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year
2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in
