LANSING, August 14, 2008 - A lucky woman is more than a half a million dollars richer! She matched all five Fantasy 5 numbers in the August 3 drawing and won $522,480!

The anonymous woman purchased her lucky winning easy pick ticket at Millburg Trading Post, 4766 Territorial Rd., in Benton Harbor.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
