LANSING, January 6, 2006 – Steven Hannosh, of Keego Harbor, claimed a $288,235 Fantasy 5 jackpot.

Hannosh, age 20, said he plans to invest some of the money and “just have fun with it.”  He has been playing the Lottery since he turned 18 and plays the Mega Millions and Fantasy 5 games.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Wine Taster Party Shoppe, 1400 S. Cass Lake Rd., in Waterford.

Fantasy 5 is the Michigan Lottery’s game which replaced Michigan Roll Down.  Drawings for the game are held seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
