LANSING, September 22, 2004 – A lucky man experienced a little Lottery luck after matching 10 of the 22 numbers drawn in the September 22, 2004 Keno drawing to win the
$250,000 top prize! The 10 numbers he matched in that day’s drawing were: 3, 4, 8, 12, 19, 41, 46, 51, 55 and 64.
The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket from
Meijer #36, 5500 Clyde Park Ave, SW, in Wyoming.
The 58-year-old General Motors employee was in complete shock as someone handed him the results of the drawing.
He was in such disbelief that he immediately went home to check the numbers on his computer.
After learning the numbers he played for seven years hit the jackpot, he drove right to Lansing to collect his prize.
The man, who is an active bowler, golfer and grandparent, plans to pay bills and buy a new car with his winnings.
The Keno game is designed to appeal to players wanting better odds of winning a prize.
To play Keno, a player selects 10 numbers between one and 80. The Lottery draws 22 numbers from the field of one to 80.
Players win if they match six, seven, eight, nine or all 10 of the numbers on their ticket to the 22 drawn by the Lottery, or even if they match no numbers at all.
