LANSING, January 31, 2005 – A lucky Waterford man is
$14,000 richer after winning the top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s Love that Loot
Instant game.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said he was in shock when he scratched off his winning ticket.
He plans to use the prize money to pay bills. The winning ticket was purchased at
Lake Vine Food Mart, 2974 W. Walton Blvd., in Waterford.
Love that Loot is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.
In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.5 million.
