LANSING, November 2, 2005 – Robert Layne is the lucky winner of a
$10,000 prize from the Michigan Lottery’s Mega Millions game. The
Toledo, Ohio man matched four white balls and the Mega ball to win the prize.
The Mega Millions prize structure changed beginning with the June 24 drawing when California became part of the Mega Millions game. The previous prize for matching four white balls and the Mega ball was $5,000.
Layne was very nervous when he read of his good fortune in the newspaper. In his free time he enjoys fishing. He has no immediate plans for his prize money.
The lucky own pick ticket was purchased at Cox Beer Store, 6201 Lewis Ave., in
Temperance.
