LANSING, November 2, 2005 – A very lucky lawyer from
Keego Harbor claimed a $10,000 Club Keno prize. The man bet $2 a game and matched nine of 10 numbers in the 10-spot game to win the prize.
The lucky winner was happy when he found out he won the prize. He hid the ticket in his parents house before redeeming it at one of the Lottery’s regional offices. He enjoys watching sports in his free time and plans to purchase a T.V. and furniture with his prize money.
He purchased the winning own pick ticket, which was based on birthdays, at
Schooper’s, 1535 Cass Lake Rd., in Keego Harbor.
Club Keno is a fun, fast, continuous action game with drawings every five minutes. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more the numbers matched, the more the player wins. Club Keno drawings take place seven days a week, every five minutes, from 6:05 a.m. to 1:45 a.m.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.8 million.
