LANSING, November 7, 2005 – A very lucky Lansing man won big
Club Keno money twice in five days! Brian Richmond won $10,000 one week, and the next week claimed a ticket for
$20,020! Richmond matched eight of nine numbers, betting $10 per draw to win the prize.
The fortunate man was very happy when his easy pick ticket won the money for the second time in a week. He hid the winning ticket on his night stand before cashing it in at Lottery Central in Lansing. Richmond has no immediate plans for the prize money.
He purchased the winning ticket at Reno’s West Sports Bar, 5001 W. Saginaw
Hwy., in Lansing.
Club Keno is a fun, fast, continuous action game with drawings every five minutes. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more the numbers matched, the more the player wins. Club Keno drawings take place seven days a week, every five minutes, from 6:05 a.m. to 1:45 a.m.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.8 million.
