LANSING, November 9, 2005 – A very lucky Grand Rapids woman scratched her way to a
$20,000 top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s Round Robin Bingo game.
The 52-year-old regular Lottery player was in disbelief when she revealed the big prize. The winner and her husband were driving home from up north when she discovered her luck. She hid the lucky ticket in a desk drawer before cashing it in at a Lottery regional office.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Northland Grocery, 10636 Northland
Dr., in Big Rapids.
Round Robin Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 10,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.8 million.
