WINFALL

LANSING, November 9, 2005 – A very lucky regular Lottery player from Shelby Twp. was elated when he won $20,930 in the WinFall game. The winner matched five of six numbers on March 26 when the jackpot reached $5 million. The last WinFall drawing was May 14, but winning tickets can be cashed in up to one year after a drawing takes place.

If the jackpot reaches $5 million and no one matches all six numbers to win the jackpot, the $5 million in the jackpot then rolls down to the match five, four and three winners, increasing those prize levels by up to 10 times the normal amount.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, picked his numbers from a “special combination” and plans to use the prize money to gamble.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Zora Brothers Marathon, 48990 Hayes Rd., in Macomb.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2004, the contribution was $644.8 million.
