LANSING, June 6, 2007 - A very lucky Redford Twp. woman didn't believe it when she scratched off a $1 million winning ticket.  The woman, who opted to remain anonymous, couldn't believe her luck with her $40,000,000 Spectacular Instant ticket!

The married regular Lottery player was in such disbelief that she took a picture of the ticket, just for proof!  She hid the ticket in a safe prior to cashing it in at Lottery Central in Lansing.  She plans to pay off the family home and share the wealth with her family.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Value Center Market, 27428 6 Mile Rd., in Livonia.

$40,000,000 Spectacular is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
