LANSING, October 9, 2007 - Five lucky finalists who will participate in a drawing for $2 million will be selected by the Michigan Lottery on Friday, October 12.

The finalists will be chosen from those players who win $1,000 on one of the Lottery's $20 Instant tickets: "Mega Bucks Jackpot", "2,000,000 Cash Winfall", "Millionaire's Club", "$2,000,000 Explosion", and "$35,000,000 Riches".  Claims of $1,000 prizes made before the close of business on Wednesday, October 10 will qualify for the drawing.  In order to claim a $1,000 prize, winners must redeem their ticket at a Lottery regional office or licensed bank claim center.

Finalists will be notified by phone that day and also by US mail.

Players who redeem $1,000 prizes after that date will be eligible for the next $2 million drawing, which will be conducted this winter.  The grand prize drawing will be conducted at Ford Field on Sunday, October 21, during halftime of the Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game.
