LANSING, November 6, 2007 – Amy Lausman is a very
lucky Club Keno player! She won a $10,000 prize after matching
eight of 10 numbers, betting $2 a draw and having the 10X Kicker option come up
on the screen.
The Sawyer woman was "in shock" after she
watched her numbers show up. The 41-year-old picked her own numbers based on
birthdays of family members. She plans to purchase a new radar for her boat so
she can enjoy even more fishing on Coho's Aim.
The lucky winning ticket was purchased at
D'Agostino Navajo, 8970 Red Arrow Hwy., in Bridgman.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play
and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and
tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno
by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to
the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public
education in Michigan. In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
