LANSING, November 21, 2007 – A very lucky winner walked away with $543,356 after he matched all five numbers in the November 16 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The anonymous winner said he plays the Lottery regularly and previously won $2,900. He plans to use the prize money to buy a new shotgun, a new kitchen for his wife and invest.

The winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Hamilton 76 Mobil Mart, 3604 Lincoln Rd., in Hamilton.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
