Fantasy 5 prize claimed

LANSING, August 14, 2008 - Another Fantasy 5 jackpot has been claimed! An anonymous woman matched all five numbers in the Aug. 11 drawing to win a $110,000 prize! She matched additional numbers on a different line, bringing her grand total to $110,001!

The lucky winning easy pick ticket was purchased at Uncle Boomba's, 1010 S. Lapeer Rd., in Oxford.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
