The lucky tickets were purchased at Bandar's Inc. in Southfield, Smokers Only in Waterford, CVS Pharmacy 08026 in Troy, Orangeville 66 in Shelbyville, the Red Oak Lounge in Sanford, Goldsworthy's Marathon in Hastings, Marias Italian Bakery in Ypsilanti, Lyons Mini Mart in South Lyon, the Mayflower Market in Plymouth, Northwestern Shell in Farmington Hills, the Windmill Truck Stop in Dimondale, Brass Mug Liquor in Livonia, the Walled LK Liquor Station in Walled Lake, and Happy Days Party Shop in Warren.

This was the fourth Super Raffle offered by the Lottery. Featured were two prizes of $2 million each, 20 prizes of $100,000, 4,000 prizes of $500 and 10,000 prizes of $100.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was over $740 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
