LANSING, June 7, 2001 – It’s soon to be now or never for the lucky winner who possesses a $1,039,242 jackpot-winning Michigan Lotto ticket! Only seven short days remain for the holder of this ticket to claim his or her prize. The information on the unclaimed Lotto prize is as follows:

The Michigan Lotto game was replaced on February 28, 2001 by the Lottery’s new Michigan Millions game. This $1,039,242 prize is the only Lotto jackpot prize that remains unclaimed.

"It is every Lottery player’s dream to win a jackpot prize," Lottery Commissioner Don Gilmer said. "Unfortunately, time is running out for the Lottery player holding this ticket. Michigan Lottery players have one year from the draw date to claim an on-line prize. This top-prize winning Lotto ticket will expire at the close of business on Thursday, June 14, 2001.
