The Michigan Lotto game was replaced on February 28, 2001 by the Lottery’s new Michigan Millions game. This $1,039,242 prize is the only Lotto jackpot prize that remains unclaimed.
"It is every Lottery player’s dream to win a jackpot prize," Lottery Commissioner Don Gilmer said. "Unfortunately, time is running out for the Lottery player holding this ticket. I urge you to take time this weekend to look through any old Lotto tickets you may have. It truly would be a shame to see this prize go by unclaimed!"
Michigan Lottery players have one year from the draw date to claim an on-line prize. This top-prize winning Lotto ticket will expire at the close of business on Thursday, June 14, 2001.
If Michigan Lottery prizes are not claimed within the one-year period, they revert to the state School Aid Fund. For more information about any unclaimed Michigan Lottery prize, players can call (517) 335-5640.
