LANSING, July 25, 2002 – A lucky Ishpeming woman recently beat the dealer in the Lottery’s "Blackjack Doubler" instant game and won a $21,000 top prize!

The winning ticket was purchased at BP Country Mart, 830 US Highway 41 W, in Ishpeming.

"I was at home when I scratched off the ticket," the lucky lady said. "I double checked it, and couldn’t believe my eyes. The next day, I took the ticket to the store and they verified that I really did have a $21,000 winning ticket!"

The lucky winner, who requested anonymity, said she only occasionally plays Michigan Lottery games, so she was pleasantly surprised to win such a large prize! She added that she plans to use her winnings to pay bills. There is no doubt she and her husband will enjoy their recent good fortune!

"Blackjack Doubler" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant games available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
