Joseph Jankowy of Clinton Township Hits It Big With Lottery's "Ante Up" Instant Game!

LANSING, January 21, 2003 – Joseph Jankowy of Clinton Township recently won big bucks upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Ante Up" instant game ticket to reveal a $21,000 top prize!

Jankowy, who works as a shop manager for Reklein Plastics, Inc., purchased the winning ticket at Moravian Liquor Shoppe, 35906 Utica Road, in Clinton Township.

"After I scratched off the ticket and learned I had won a $21,000 top prize, I was shocked!" exclaimed the 33-year-old winner.

Jankowy told Lottery officials that he kept the winning ticket locked in a safe prior to turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Sterling Heights.

The lucky man added that he currently has no special plans for his winnings.

"Ante Up" is one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
