LANSING, February 19, 2003 Stanley Jordan of Paw
Paw revealed all the right words upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery
"Cashword" instant game ticket to reveal a $35,000 top prize!
Jordan, who works as a concrete finisher at
Johnson Poured Wall, purchased the winning ticket at Yummies and More Inc.,
52990 M-40, in Marcellus.
"I knew immediately after scratching off the
ticket that I was $35,000 richer," said the lucky 47-year-old winner.
"I am ecstatic to win such a great prize!"
Jordan, who enjoys hunting and fishing in his
spare time, said he kept the winning ticket in his pocket at all times to ensure
its safety prior to turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Wyoming.
He added that he plans to use part of his winnings to pay bills and "enjoy the rest."
"Cashword" is just one of many Michigan
Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
