Are you looking for a dynamic speaker for your next group meeting? Are your members interested in the Lottery and its contributions to the local economy? The Michigan Lottery has a group of professionals who are ready and eager to meet with your group or civic organization.
The Lottery has proudly supported public education for 36 years, contributing over $15 billion to schools during that time. While the Lottery's contributions to schools are extremely important, it also plays a significant role in the state's economy. Find out how Lottery retailers and ticket sales impact the areas where you live and work.
"The Lottery is pleased to be able to provide this service to groups and organizations across the state," Lottery Commissioner M. Scott Bowen said. "The Speakers Bureau gives us the opportunity to share with you the many ways the Lottery is able to give back to the state of Michigan, and it also provides a forum for you to ask the Lottery any questions you might have."

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
