Numbers to Call

Seniors 60 or older who have legal questions and would like to consult with an attorney specializing in elder law may call the Legal Hotline for Michigan Seniors toll free at 1-800-347-5297. There is no charge for this service.
 
If you suspect that an older adult is the victim of elder abuse or neglect, you can contact the Michigan Family Independence Agency's Adult Protective Services Division. A report can be made by calling the family violence help line at 1-800-996-6228.
