The Governor appointed me as a Commissioner on the Great Lakes Commission in 2003. The Great Lakes Commission is a bi-national agency that promotes the orderly, integrated, and comprehensive development, use, and conservation of the water and related natural resources of the Great Lakes basin and the St. Lawrence River.
In addition to the environmental issues the Commission considers, we also examine transportation, sustainable development and commercial concerns as well.
This year, the Commission will be celebrating 50 years of service to the Great Lakes region, for information regarding the work of the Commission, including meeting schedules, partners, as well as other members please go the Great Lakes Commission
