Operators can log into the system and check the In-Service Training Registry. Out-of-State Vendor classes must also be approved by MCOLES to use LED funds.

This program discusses the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, Michigan Firearms act of 1927, as amended, the concealed pistol licensing act, and how these impact on an individual's ability to obtain a license to purchase or a concealed pistol license. State and Federal factors that may be considered in denying a License to Purchase or a CPL license are discussed. Requirements and restrictions to conducting a NCIS check are reviewed. Restoration of a felon's firearms rights is discussed.
