The International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) is an international organization of training managers and executives dedicated to the improvement of public safety personnel. The Association serves as the national forum of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) agencies, boards and commissions, as well as statewide training academies throughout the United States. The mission of IADLEST is to research, develop and share information, ideas and innovations that assist states in establishing effective and defensible standards for employment and training of peace officers.

New Tribal Police Department!
The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP) is searching for a Law Enforcement Director to build and operate its first Tribal Police Department. MOTOR CARRIER OFFICER

The Michigan State Police Traffic Safety Division is looking for highly motivated individuals interested in a challenging career in commercial vehicle law enforcement.

The position is for Motor Carrier Officer - Recruit MC-09.  The pay range is $15.82 to $24.41 per hour.  It is a uniform law enforcement position.  Motor Carrier Officers are charged with enforcing the commercial vehicle laws and regulations throughout Michigan. 

The motor carrier officer applicant must take the Entry Level Law Enforcement Exam #2002 which can be accessed at www.michigan.gov/mdcs

Qualifications:
