MCOLES Adopts Five Advisory In-Service Training Standards

The Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards approved and adopted five new advisory in-service training standards at their September 18, 2013, Commission meeting in Gaylord, Michigan. The standards have been posted on the Web site under the Standards and Training Menu, In-Service Training Resources. The advisory in-service training standards cover the following topics:  Officer Safety Self Assessment, Officer Safety, Legal Update, Subject Control, and Emergency Vehicle Operations.
