GYSD is led by Youth Service America, with the MCSC serving as a GYSD Lead Agency to encourage service locally.  As part of the MCSC's efforts, we are inviting you to participate in the 2010 GYSD Michigan Coalition.

The needs of Michigan are great, yet our state's young people have the skills, drive, and desire to help.  They are the creativity of Motown, the innovation of the assembly line, and the social consciousness of the six hour work day.  Help the MCSC illuminate the efforts of our young people this April…here's how you can get involved by committing to support the 2010 GYSD in Michigan in the following ways:

• Plan a Global Youth Service Day event in your community.
• Post information about the 2010 GYSD on your website - if applicable.
• Encourage the young people in your community to create their own GYSD projects.
• Connect with the MCSC and let us know what you've got planned for the 2010 GYSD.   Please complete our survey .  Once you've completed the survey we will post your project online at www.gysd.org .
