Volunteer Muskegon's AmeriCorps

Volunteer Muskegon's AmeriCorps members are placed at several sites in Muskegon County.  The fifteen full-time members and five summer-only members engage K-12 youth in service-learning projects to build development assets in Muskegon's youth.  Members develop strong skills in youth development, experiential learning techniques, grass roots community problem solving, and leadership skills.  Muskegon's AmeriCorps team is dedicated to building awareness of national service and facilitating large-scale service projects on days of national service.
