Interested in AmeriCorps Funding? Information is Currently Available on How to Apply
The Michigan Community Service Commission is pleased to announce an AmeriCorps funding opportunity for the 2014-2015 program year.
Michigan's AmeriCorps is a national service program, similar to a domestic Peace Corps, that involves individuals (members) "getting things done" in their communities. In exchange for a term of service (up to one year), members receive a living allowance. Upon successful completion, members receive an education award to help pay for college or repay student loans.
Additional information about AmeriCorps and this opportunity can be found in the Notice of Funds Availabe (NOFA) and Comprehensive Guidelines below. An outreach webinar will also be held on September 18, 2013 to help inform interested applicants. To register for this webinar, click here. Please feel free to share this information with other organizations or colleagues who may be interested in AmeriCorps funding.
