Officials to hold an Emerald Ash Borer informational meeting for Mackinac County

Officials from the Michigan departments of Agriculture and Natural Resources, U.S. Department of Agriculture - Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, U.S. Forest Service, Michigan State University County Extension, Michigan Technological University and Soil Conservation District will host a public meeting on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, to discuss Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) quarantine, 2008 survey findings, anticipated 2009 EAB activities, and answer any questions regarding EAB infestations in Mackinac County.
