Right to Farm and State Construction Code Meetings

LANSING, Mich. -
County, City, Village, and Township government officials are invited to learn more about the Michigan Right to Farm Act and the state Construction Code at workshops being held throughout March and April across the state.

Six educational workshops will provide public education on the Right to Farm Act’s role in on-farm and local government planning, and agriculture's role in the state Construction Code.

These workshops are free and take place from 7 - 9 p.m. as follows:

The meetings are sponsored by the Michigan Farm Bureau in partnership with the Michigan Townships Association; Michigan Department of Agriculture; Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth; and the Michigan Association of Counties.
