Give Pests the Push-off this Winter!

With winter comes many a wonder here in Michigan.  One of the least desirable of these wonders is the influx of insects and other pests into our homes as they search for a warm place to spend the winter months.   Like us, our insect friends don't care to winter out-of-doors here in Michigan, so they naturally look for shelter.  Of course, there aren't any better natural shelters than our own homes!  To help you deal with this problem, the MDA has put together a group of pages on how to winterize your home in an effort to prevent insect invasions.  If this comes too little too late and you already have a pest problem in your home, we offer up information on selecting a pest control management company, or if you prefer to take care of the problem yourself, how to safely handle pesticides in and about your home.
