Problem/Reason for Recall:
The recalled product may be contaminated with Salmonella. Consumption of a food contaminated with Salmonella may cause symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis. These symptoms could be serious or life-threatening in young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems.
No illnesses have been reported to-date in connection with this problem.

Product was shipped to 17 states including Michigan, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Illinois, Florida, Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado, Wisconsin, Ohio, New York, New Mexico, Kansas and Utah. (Note: Michigan is not included in the March 4 press release, but product was distributed in Michigan).
